How to Play Maxi Yatzy Dice Game

Objective

Maxi Yatzy is a variant of Yatzy which is played with 6 six-sided dice.

Gameplay

Each player is given 20 turns in all to score in 20 combinations. Dice can be rolled up to 3 times in each turn. After each dice roll, player can set aside one or more dice and roll remaining dice. There are a total of 20 possible combinations and each combination can only be used once so once a player has scored a combination, it can not be scored again.

The scorecard contains two sections.

Upper Section:

Category	Description	Score
Ones	Dice with number one	Total of ones rolled
Twos	Dice with number two	Total of twos rolled
Threes	Dice with number three	Total of threes rolled
Fours	Dice with number four	Total of fours rolled
Fives	Dice with number five	Total of fives rolled
Sixes	Dice with number six	Total of sixes rolled

Players can make 100 points bonus if they score a total of 84 or more in upper section.

Lower Section:

One Pair	Two dice showing the same number	Sum of those two dice
Two Pairs	Two pairs of dice showing same number	Sum of dice in those two pairs
Three Pairs	Three pairs of dice showing same number	Sum of dice in those three pairs
Three of a kind	At least three dice showing the same number	Sum of those three dice
Four of a kind	At least four dice showing the same number	Sum of those four dice
Five of a kind	At least five dice showing the same number	Sum of those five dice
Small Straight	1-2-3-4-5 combination	15
Large Straight	2-3-4-5-6 combination	20
Full Straight	1-2-3-4-5-6 combination	21
Full House	A three-of-a-kind and a pair	Sum of five dice
Castle (Villa)	Two sets of 3 dice showing the same number	Sum of all dice
Tower	A four-of-a-kind and a pair	Sum of all dice
Chance	Any combination	Sum of all dice
Maxi Yatzy	All six dice showing the same number	100
